INTRODUCTION OF PRIVATE SCHOOL TEACHERS EDUCATION FUND (NCOPST FUND)
Life has been very difficult for private school teachers right from time immemorial till date.
Currently, 99% of private school teachers are living on debts. Most of them cannot pay their rents because of their peanut salary.
From the survey we conducted, we realized that about 50% of private school teachers receive salaries below Ghc400. This calls for a national discourse on the matter.
As part of the aims and objectives of the National Council of Private School Teachers, we have initiated a process to raise funds to support private school teachers by setting up a fund to help improve the living standards of all private teachers.
We have set up Private School Teachers Education Fund, also known as, NCOPST Fund.
The Fund is purposely to raise funds to:
- Support Education
Support the private school teachers to further their Education.

Teachers are mandated to go for CPDs to enhance their competencies and also upgrade their skills to qualify and remain in the teaching profession. Kindly support our Seminars, workshops etc
