On the third day of the 2023 African Para Games, the Accra tennis court witnessed intense competition as wheelchair tennis teams from various African countries competed.

The day commenced with a thrilling match featuring Daniel Laryea from Ghana and Leon Els from South Africa. The audience was treated to an exciting contest, ultimately concluding with South Africa’s Leon Els emerging victorious, defeating Daniel Laryea with a score of 1-6, 0-6.

Although Ghana faced defeat in the initial match, Bernard Yawson’s impressive performance resulted in a 0-6, 1-6 victory over Kenya’s Shaban Matano, securing a triumph for Team Ghana to close the day.
