The Professional Development point accumulation is still ongoing, even though the National Teaching Council is yet to review its policy on total point accumulation and eliminate dubious service providers from the system.

The council has said it’s reviewing its Total CPD Point accumulation from

SUP 165 CPD Points to 20 CPD Points per year

Senior SUP II 70 Points and 20 CPD Points per year

Senior SUP 175 CPD Points 20 CPD Points

per year

PS 80 CPD 20 CPD Points per year

All Ranks will need to accumulate 20 per year

60% of the Points Which is 12 CPD Points would be awarded by the employer thus GES through PLC and INSET.

Contact Your District for INSET data and CPD Points, Most Districts are doing it, don’t sit to assume they do not know how to do it.
