The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has disclosed to release WASSCE results of prospective candidates who sat for the 2020 edition of the WASSCE for School Candidates on the first week of November 2020.

The Head of Test Administration Division, WAEC, Mr George K. Ohene Mantey revealed the 2020 WASSCE results release on an interview 

“After the marking process of the scripts and other stages, members of the general public is to expect the release of the results by WAEC from October ending or the first week of November this year”, the WAEC official noted.According to Mr George Mantey, the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) will try as much as possible and minimize errors in the marking of scripts to ensure the results of candidates are released as scheduled.

“So If we are fortunate and there are not too many errors to correct, we correct errors during the marking of scripts… If there are not too many errors then hopefully by ending of October or early first week of November we will release the WASSCE results ….so probably the first week of November” .The non-profit-making organization commenced the marking of all Senior High Schools WASSCE papers on Monday, September 28, 2020, with over 20, 000 Examiners across the country taking part in the marking process.
